Handmade Books

Chrystene and Berny shared a bunch of examples of film puppetry and special effects. At a loss for direction, I borrowed Chrystene's copy of The Penland Book of Handmade Books. I am pulling elements from it into my brain.

I feel pulled toward imagery of textures, the mechanics of pop-up books, and the narratives and creations in the films of the Brothers Quay.
